Art & Culture
The art and culture scene in Schwielowsee is astonishingly diverse. No, it's not a temporary escape for big-city artists, nor an update of the Havelland painters' colony of the late 19th and early 20th centuries—it's unforgettable as it is.
This is how the art scene in Schwielowsee lives today: In Caputh, Ferch and Geltow, artists work permanently, exhibiting their works on site and for art lovers, and artists from the surrounding area give guest performances - in galleries, studios, museums and in Caputh Castle.
Visitors can test their artistic talent in creative workshops. Events featuring music, theater, literature, and readings expand the spectrum: in open-air venues, private spaces, cultural venues, and church spaces. Not always, but always and happily, I participate in Schwielowsee events on site. And I capture the cultural life of our community for you in words, pictures, and sound.
